HOURLY WORKERS
Our crew members are high energy individuals who enjoy working with the public. We provide all new employees with training in food preparation and customer service. Crew members may work part time or full time.

MANAGEMENT POSITIONS
Beef-A-Roo offers four levels of restaurant management opportunities. We consider each of these levels of management personnel to be an integral part of the store management team.

* Crew Leader
* Third Charge Manager
* Night Shift Manager
* Store Manager


CREW LEADER
A Crew Leader is responsible for learning and understanding all Beef-A-Roo policies and procedures. Requirements and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Above-average competency in all areas of food preparation and customer service.
* Development of basic supervisory, human relations, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Obtaining State of Illinois Sanitation Certification.
* Working to provide a safe and respectful work place for all employees.


THIRD CHARGE MANAGER
An exceptional Crew Leader may be offered an opportunity to advance to this next level in management. This position builds on those skills developed as a Crew Leader. Additional requirements and responsibilities associated with the Third Charge Manager position include, but are not necessarily limited to:

* Interviewing, hiring, and training of new employees.
* Maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, housekeeping, and safe food handling.
* Accurately completing shift paperwork.
* Assisting other management team members in achieving optimum food and payroll costs.
* Following all Company policies regarding cash management.
* Working to provide a safe and respectful work place for all employees.


NIGHT SHIFT MANAGER
The next level of management is Night Shift Manager. At this level you will develop and use a variety of business skills in managing a restaurant. As night manager, you will oversee all aspects of the night shift operation. You will work closely, and in conjunction with, the Store Manager in meeting store goals. Responsibilities of the Night Shift Manager include, but are not necessarily limited to:

* Recruiting, hiring, and training new employees.
* Scheduling, training, and retaining existing employees.
* Maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, housekeeping, and safe food handling.
* Demonstrating competency in all areas of employee supervision.
* Managing food inventory, labor costs, and cash for the night shift.
* Accurately completing night shift paperwork.
* Developing good judgement in the handling of unexpected/emergency problems.
* Working to provide a safe and respectful work place for all employees.


STORE MANAGER
The highest level of single store management at Beef-A-Roo is Store Manager. As a Store Manager, you are responsible for the entire operation of one Beef-A-Roo restaurant. In addition to functioning as a Day Shift Manager, the Store Manager also has the following additional responsibilities:

* Recruiting, developing, and training all lower level managers.
* Building a positive relationship with all crew and management team members.
* Supervising all employee training.
* Maintaining all food service equipment in optimum working condition.
* Teaching and enforcing all policies for employee safety.
* Setting the standard for excellence in food quality and customer service.
* Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and attractive dining atmosphere for Beef-A-Roo customers.
* Teaching and enforcing all rules for safe food handling.
* Supporting and communicating Company goals and policies to all employees.
* Assisting to maximize the business potential of this restaurant location.
* Providing a work environment for all employees that is safe and respectful.
